So we lashed the mattress and box springs

to the truck,

stopped at Walmart, the Hardware Store

and my favorite place,

Salvation Army.

Then from Road side vendors we bought

Washington Cherries

and

Real Texas Barbecue Ribs

from a

Real Texan

And boogied out of town

to beat the storm clouds

On my One Thousand Gifts List Today:

Ribs

smoked and seasoned to perfection

Cherries

as close to tree ripened as I've ever had

and

Finding my camera cord

so I could download a better picture of the house
